  • What is a roof pitch?
    • The pitch is the slope measurement of the rise of your roof. This is the number of inches the roof rises vertically for every 12 inches it extends horizontally. (also referred to as roof slope or roof slant)

      IE:   7/12 pitch means that for every 12" the roof rises 7"



  • What does clear span truss mean?
    • This means the truss can span the full measurement without having to bear on a wall some where in the middle.



  • What does it mean when the trusses are 16 inches OC or 2 foot OC?
    • OC stands for "on centre" and the trusses are spaced by the specific measurement either 16" or 2' (24").
